To use the compiled list or any entries on this blog, you need a jail-broken iPhone with Cydia or OpenSSH installed.
Cydia:
Add the Cydia source: cydia.i-phone-home.net (Manage" then "Sources", click "Edit" then "Add)
Manual:
- connect to the iPhone via SSH/SFTP
- backup your existing /etc/hosts file to be safe, the compiled file below is a drop in replacement
- update the existing hosts file at /etc/hosts with the individual entries or complete list
- save, changes are immediate, but some information may be cached. Reboot if necessary
Compiled application list version 0.50.9, updated as of 05/08/09:http://textbin.com/1503i
