Toyota is finally no 1
http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=14024
Well, can't say we saw it coming.
Toyota is well known for its "challenger" mentality, always striving to improve itself and reinvent the wheel.

Windows 7 BSOD, who would have guessed?
http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2009/01/our_first_windows_7_bsod_why_fiddle_with_perfection.html
Who woul dhave guessed that Windows 7 has the same BSOD screen as older version of Windows?
You would have thought they would touch this up a bit.
Check out OSX BSOD screen as a comparison
Not necessarily more useful, but prettier nonetheless...
And perception is reality
Silverstone LC-13 case for media center
Found the perfect case for an unobtrusive media center. Took me four
hours to move my main Mediaportal server (http://team-mediaportal.com)
from a Thermaltake tower to this baby.

This case doesn't play nice with long graphics card. So silent card
owners beware. Especially if you have a lot of hard drives in there. I
managed to cram in 6 hard drives in there.
More on that on the next post, it's painful to type a long article on
the iPhone
Windows 7 build 7000 preview
http://news.softpedia.com/news/Windows-7-Beta-1-Build-7000-Installation-in-45-Screenshots-101080.shtml
I've used Windows 7 build 7000 on a laptop with Intel GMA 950 for a week now without shutting down.
I've also done countless suspends/sleeps on this laptop and it still works.
Under XP, after about 10 suspends, laptop will lose wireless service and will often lock up after waking up.
So far so good, performance on a Intel Core Duo is also top notch, a bit faster than XP actually. I don't mind using this as my production machine, if only I can get it not to expire on me.
Looks like Microsoft has a gem on their hands
But they can always fvck this up as they have done before...
We'll see...
